Already I'm loving this discipline of playing with watercolors EVERY DAY. I woke sorta twitchy--not sad, just not sure of myself. I'd prayed before getting out of bed and truly, fully, gave every moment of the day into God's hands. I asked Him to guide my every step.
One of the first things I was led to do was start this day's watercolor play. I picked one color--a gorgeous blue I call "true blue." Then, throughout the day, I just laid on more and more layers and swooshes.
All during the day as I passed the table where the painting was drying, the lovely blue caught my eye and made something happy inside me.
For me, this turned out to be a trueblue day.

LOVE it! especially in light of your "gray day" I can see why it would make you smile!
Maureen, I love this one and what a great idea - 100 days of watercolor. I might do that myself starting on my birthday this coming July.

Yummy...looks like fried eggs or cinnamon rolls. Glad you are playing.
